Missions Statement

Calvary Chapel Christian School was started in the fall of 1997 with the desire to provide the members of Calvary Chapel of Idaho Falls and the Christian Community with a Christ centered school that could disciple the children of believers in the ways of Jesus Christ. The school has expanded yearly and currently has over one hundred and twenty students. Our current program serves students from K-2 through the sixth grade.

Each day begins on a foundation of prayer and learning God’s Word. Students are able to incorporate God into all their core subjects and will learn to apply his principles in their daily lives.

Each member of our staff has a passion and a calling to teach the word of God and to challenge each student academically, spiritually and socially.

The school's staff strives to serve as Christian role models for our students as they continue to mature in their professional lives and Christian walks.

We seek to train our students to be good citizens who practice truthfulness and exhibit character while carrying out their jobs. We seek to train them to be caring people that think first of others before themselves; to have a heart of love and compassion for others in the world around them. To practice this we provide opportunities each month for the student to show compassion on others by taking the students on field trips to retirement homes and homeless shelters.

Our vision is to give them access to more of the tools that will help them live an entire life devoted to God and to develop life long learners who discern and apply God’s Truth as they serve and lead wherever God calls.

At CCCS we address education from a Christian perspective and allow our students the opportunity to begin to understand themselves and the world around them from a Christian worldview. Our academics challenge each student individually, using Abeka curriculum the students have a hands on approach to learning normal class subjects in a Christian perspective.

CCCS is a member of the Association of Chrtistian Schools International, which is dedicated to promoting Christian grade schools, high schools, and colleges around the world. The membership of ACSI includes over two thousand schools with over seven-hundred and fifty thousand students. CCCS participates in teacher and students programs, such as math, science, and speech meets that are sponsored by ACSI. Over the next several years, it is our intent to pursue school accreditation through ACSI.
